Changes in Caverion’s Group Management Board

Caverion is moving towards the next phase of its strategy with strengthened focus on growth and development of the group business mix. As a result, the following changes in Caverion’s Group Management Board will take place as of October 1, 2015 in order to align the management structure with the execution of the next stage of strategy.

There will be two new group functions reporting to President and CEO Fredrik Strand: Group Business Development & Marketing and Group Delivery & Operations Development. These will replace the former two group functions Service Efficiency and Project Excellence.

Mrs. Carina Qvarngård (born 1959, M.Sc. Mechanical Engineering) has been appointed as Senior Vice President, Group Business Development & Marketing, and member of the Group Management Board of Caverion. In her new role Mrs. Qvarngård will drive the development of professional sales and commercialisation of a unified market offering in all service areas. Mrs. Qvarngård will start in her new position on October 1, 2015, and report to the President and CEO Fredrik Strand. Mrs. Qvarngård currently holds the position of Vice President for Product and Solution Management in Support Function Group Strategy & Development in Caverion Group. Mrs. Qvarngård has previously done an extensive career in Ericsson Global Services and Sodexo Nordics in positions such as the Head of Ericsson Education, the head of Ericsson Project Management Institute, Head of Global Delivery Strategies and head of Strategy & Portfolio management in Sodexo Nordics.

Mr. Matti Malmberg, the head of the discontinued group function Service Efficiency, will be responsible for the new group function Group Delivery & Operations Development focusing on the development of the delivery view for Caverion’s market offering in all service areas. Mr. Malmberg will also continue as a member of the Group Management Board of Caverion.

Mr. Karl-Walter Schuster, the head of the discontinued group function Project Excellence, will continue in the Group’s employ as a Senior Adviser to CEO. His main focus will be to support the operation of project offices in divisions. Mr. Schuster will resign from the Group Management Board of Caverion as of October 1, 2015.
